Radiotherapy Localization
Precision:In our production process, we place significant emphasis on the molding accuracy and immobilization effectiveness of radiotherapy thermoplastic films. This ensures uniform stretching of the mesh pores during forming, maintains consistent fixation performance, and provides more stable and precise patient immobilization.
Softening Temperature:When immersed in hot water at 65 °C–70 °C, the film softens completely within 3–4 minutes, indicated by a transparent appearance. Complete softening facilitates optimal molding, enhances fixation effectiveness, and improves patient comfort during the positioning process.
Safety:During the thermoforming procedure, the material does not adhere to the patient's hair, skin, or to itself. The entire radiotherapy immobilization film series is manufactured using environmentally friendly materials and is biodegradable after disposal.
Comfort:The material exhibits minimal shrinkage during stretching, ensuring patient comfort. The precisely CNC-punched holes (with an accuracy up to 0.02 mm) ensure the nasal area remains unobstructed after molding, allowing natural breathing.
Thickness:We offer various thickness options including 2.4 mm, 2.8 mm, and 3.2 mm to meet specific clinical requirements.
Memory Performance:The radiotherapy thermoplastic film is a shape-memory material that can be remolded and reused. If the initial shaping or fixation is unsatisfactory, the deformed material can be re-softened in 65 °C–70 °C water for reformation.
Important Note:Re-molding is intended only for repeated immobilization of the same patient. Reusing a previously applied immobilization film for a different patient may lead to regulatory and legal complications.
