Radiotherapy Localization
Precision:Our manufacturing process prioritizes the molding accuracy and immobilization efficacy of radiotherapy thermoplastic masks. The product ensures uniform stretching of the mesh pores during shaping, maintaining consistent fixation performance to achieve stable and precise patient immobilization.
Softening Temperature:When immersed in hot water at 65 °C–70 °C, the mask softens completely within 3–4 minutes, indicated by a transparent appearance. Complete softening facilitates optimal molding, improves fixation, and enhances patient comfort during positioning.
Safety:During the thermoforming process, the material does not adhere to the patient’s hair, skin, or to itself. The immobilization film series is made of environmentally friendly materials and is biodegradable after disposal.
Comfort:The material exhibits low shrinkage during stretching, increasing patient comfort. The precisely CNC-punched holes (accuracy up to 0.02 mm) ensure the nasal area remains uncovered after molding, allowing natural breathing.
Thickness:We offer customizable thicknesses including 2.4 mm, 2.8 mm, and 3.2 mm to meet diverse clinical needs.
Memory Performance:The mask is made of a thermoplastic material with shape-memory properties, allowing it to be remolded and reused. If the initial shaping is unsatisfactory, the deformed mask can be re-softened in 65 °C–70 °C water for reformation.
Important Note:Re-molding is intended only for repeated immobilization of the same patient. Reusing a mask on different patients may lead to regulatory and legal complications.
